WHY VA?

I came to work for the VA in 2010 as a primary care clinician. It was an ideal position for me as I see caring for Veterans as a way to serve those who have served. Since joining the VA, I have developed a passion for the women Veteran population in particular. I now spend most of my time conducting research to improve the health and health care of Veterans with the overarching goal to improve the health of our Veterans – particularly women – so that they can live their best life.
